this would not normally be a problem since i am from a usually sunny city but for the last couple of weeks it has been raining hard does any one know what i can do… with out taking it to the dealer?

1. Air it out and let the water evaporate naturally.
2. Get some sealant for the cracks that the water got into.
3. Take out the dead body from your trunk before he decomposes completely.

I love it….I feel like a really cool mom driving it, but it rides really rough….and I’m a little bummed because I have a luxury car that rides rough (because of the low tires). I was thinking of trying to trade or sell the wheels and tires for new ones….maybe new vogue tires and new vogue wheels….just ones that are a little bigger and wouldn’t ride as rough. What should I do…..your thoughts???

I have a buddy that works for a cadillac dealership and he told me that the northstar engine is known for lasting almost 200k miles, can anyone give me anymore info on this? i am considering buying a 04 CTS with 42k miles

Most drivers probably average around 15,000 miles annually so that’s very reasonable mileage for that year car.

my window fell off of the track on my 2004 cadillac deville……I have someone that is trying to fix it for me but doesn’t know how to get the door panel off to get to it……The window is in a down position and wont go up….

Most likely its on bromets, so take off any screws that might be holding the handle in place(not the one that opens the door) and use a slim tool like a flathead screwdriver to pop the panel off the door. The bromets might break so u might need to buy new ones before putting door back on. They are like 2 bucks.
Dont be scared to put a little effort into popping the bromets. They will give.

Between the Lexus RX 350, BMW X3, and Cadillac SRX, what would be your pick? I am especially concerned about luxury features, value, fuel economy, and the ride of the car. Any input from personal experiences or recommendations on other cars are appreciated. I do not want to spend over 52k.

I would definitely choose the Cadillac SRX. It seats up to 7, more roomier than the others, safer since it’s more of a family car, handles like a sports car, and has all the luxuruy features if not more than the other options, like an automatic rear door opener, back up sensors, back up camera, automatic fold down 3rd row seats, satellite GPS, and a heck of a lot more.
